BMS Racing JS-3 Tiger:
Initially starting life under the project name 'Tiger', the JS-3 began as an R&D platform for testing, & then after showing promise in the KAMA world cup, & then unmatched efficiency at the 2023 MultiGP International Open & Australian Drone Nationals, is ready for its official debut into the BMS Racing stable. The guiding principles of the design are as follows:
-Had to fit a complete, high power 5" powertrain & Foxeer HDZero system
-Lightweight & tight weight distribution
-Small motor to motor - no wasted material
This leaves us with an ultra lightweight machine, that maintains an impressive top speed, & outstanding cornering characteristics & uncompromised low-mid speed acceleration.
Some special highlights to note:
Fits Foxeer 60A slim & Foxeer HDZero VTX.
Primarily T300 Construction - Due to the small structure & prioritization of lightweight, this is the perfect material for the platform.
Simplified manufacturing process - This keeps frame costs down, especially over a fleet.
Shared parts & arm bolt pattern with JS-2 - This means there is the option to fit the frame out with the longer T700 arms of the JS-2, meaning for a mixed fleet you can utilise the benefits of both platforms, but have a single set of arms & arm braces that are cross compatible! Futher more based on our testing, we couldn't observe any measurable difference in top speed, track speed or track efficiency! There was an impact to straight line efficiency, but we currently believe this is due to the tune not being optimized for the longer JS-2 arms.
History of the JS-3 'Tiger'
Initially starting life under the project name 'Tiger', the JS-3 began as an R&D platform for testing the base principles of lightweight design as a single element of focus, & then served as a testing platform for the HDZero VTX. From there it became the lead testing platform for our efforts in the KAMA world cup, & after some further development competed in the MultiGP International Open, where it managed P2, & was the only platform that could do 3 laps, without HV charging & without destroying that battery at qualifying pace.
It was during this event that the airframe recieved a lot of attention & interest, & we decided to develop it further & see if it could work as a production frame in the BMS Racing stable.
While efforts moved towards adapting the frame to BMS quality & ease of use standards for production, the protoypes continued work in various aerodynamic studies, & with a little further development, we made the decision to bring it to the 2023 Australian Drone Nationals & as a final testing ground of our new design concepts. Here, the airframe managed TQ, First place & lays claim to the only machine at the Nationals that could run a four lap qualifying pace without HV charging, no special batteries, & landing at 3.7v per cell. It also went on to win the New Zealand Open 2024 while once again setting TQ and Winning the event.

Note: This is only the carbon & hardware for the frame. For proper assembly, additional TPU parts are required to complete the build. We have printing on demand available, but additionally all the parts are available on thingiverse as a free STL download.
TPU sold through BMS Racing is made for the TBS Triumph Pro U.FL, Foxeer Predator Nano & in the case of the HDZero Version, the whoop lite board & 90FPS Camera with upgraded runcam lens. If you are using a different antenna, camera or lens, please contact us first to verify compatibility before you make a purchase. We will be producing more mounts & variants as required.
